As you may be aware our school has been looking into the use of a new Online Service called Verso (the Online Service) which is operated by Learnology (the Service Provider).
The school will use Verso to develop provocations for students. Students respond to rich media and questions promoting deep learning and peer feedback. The Verso app will support the discussions already taking place within projects and provocations, providing a place for students to interact with media, answer questions and respond to discussions. They will have an opportunity to respond to other students’ comments providing for deep conversations about learning. This app is being offered to us through the Department of Education and Training.

To enable you to access and use the Online Service the school will be providing personal information of you and your child that the school has collected at or during the course of your child’s enrolment. This personal information includes:

Personal information collected by the school through the Online Services and will not otherwise be otherwise used or disclosed by the school unless authorised by law.
We recognise that there may be a range of reasons why parents do not wish to, or are unable to use or access, the Online Services. If you do not wish not wish to, or are unable to use or access, the Online Services, please contact the school to opt-out of your use of the Online Services and to make alternative arrangements please let us know in writing via princes.hill.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au
