In Literacy we have continued examining how political
cartoons can be interpreted depending on our prior knowledge. Differing opinions and assumptions have
resulted in some engaging discussions. Students
have also begun bringing in their own cartoons.
This week we began literature discussion groups around
shared texts. The students will be looking for connections to their everyday
lives while comparing their views and any questions they may have.
In our lead up to Canberra we have begun researching some of
the significant sites we’ll be visiting on our stay. These will be complied into an information brochure.
