Learning Experiences

In Literacy the 5/6 neighbourhood have begun the third week of our investigation into government.  The students have been analysing political cartoons by considering the assumptions we make and the prior knowledge we require to get the message.  While deepening their understanding of Federation the students examined how an issue can be presented in texts and the differing opinions of authors.

There have been some fantastic discussions that show a growing understanding and a higher level of critical thinking.
