MATHS PROJECTS

The students are about to begin their first maths project, thinking about and investigating how they use maths each day. The teachers and students have collaborated to develop the expectations for this project, which will be compiled by the teachers and presented next week.

Learning Goal:
To understand the value of maths in my daily life.
Task:
To investigate and record all of the maths I use or encounter in my daily life.
The students watched a short video, called 'Real Life Math' to get them thinking about the kinds of maths they might use or come across. This is a home-school learning activity, so expect to see students engaged with this task at home over the next couple of weeks.
