Literacy
In literacy this week the students have been exploring
the devices authors use to better engage the reader. One device is “the gap” when authors choose
to omit information as a way of drawing in the reader. We have also focused on
the development and use of rich language in narrative writing. Within spelling the focus has been root words
and the origin of meaning.
